Before we talk
What should exist, and for whom?
Most people arrive with a rough idea and no clear picture of what they actually want built. That is normal — working it out is the job.
These questions do that working out. At the end you get a written brief and a rough idea of the size, the time and the cost. It is yours to keep, whether or not we work together.

What this number is and is not
It is a range from the answers above, not a quote. Scope always moves once a real product is in front of people. I give a fixed price after the prototype — that is the first point at which anyone, me included, actually knows what is being built.
The next step is small
Before anything is committed, I build a working prototype you can click through — not pictures, a running thing. It costs a fixed price and takes about a week. 540
